Terms

Terms for using UK Property Index.

These are practical product terms for the current service. They should still be treated as draft terms pending formal legal review.

Service scope

UK Property Index provides property data, valuation support, local market scoring, and workflow tools. The product is informational and should not be treated as regulated financial, legal, or surveying advice.

Accounts and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Access to paid features depends on a valid account, an active subscription, and successful plan sync between Stripe and the application. We may suspend or revoke access if the service is abused or if payment fails.

Credits and access periods

One credit unlocks the full read for a single postcode. That postcode remains available in your account for 45 days from the date of unlock, and you may view it as often as you wish during that period at no additional cost.

After 45 days, or at any point where you want the underlying data re-pulled from source rather than served from what we already hold, refreshing that postcode costs half a credit.

Credits themselves do not expire. The 45-day period applies to how long a particular postcode stays open to you, not to the credits in your balance.

Refunds and cancellation

Pay-as-you-go credits. When you buy a credit pack you expressly request that the service is made available immediately, and you acknowledge that a credit is fully performed, and therefore non-refundable, as soon as it is used to unlock a postcode report. Credits you have not yet used can be refunded if you request it within 14 days of purchase. Once a credit has been spent and the corresponding report has been shown to you, that credit is treated as delivered and cannot be refunded.

Subscriptions. You can cancel a Pro, Max, or Agent subscription at any time from your account or billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not provide pro-rata refunds for the remainder of a paid period once that period has begun.

Your statutory rights. Nothing in this section removes the rights you have under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or other UK consumer law. Where a service has not yet been supplied, your normal 14-day right to cancel applies. By starting a search or unlocking a report you are asking us to begin the service straight away and agreeing that your right to cancel does not apply to any part of the service that has already been delivered. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us and we will review it.

Data and accuracy

The service uses third-party and public-source data. We aim to keep the data current and useful, but we cannot guarantee that every output is complete, error-free, or suitable for a specific transaction. Users remain responsible for their own decisions and checks.

Acceptable use

You must not abuse the service, scrape protected endpoints, interfere with the platform, or use the product to break applicable law, contract terms, or third-party data restrictions.

Reports and outputs

Reports, dashboards, and exports are supplied for your own use or your organisation’s internal/client work, subject to the plan you hold. Branded Agent material does not transfer ownership of the underlying UK Property Index platform, software, or source data rights.

Aggregated product insight

We may use aggregated or anonymised product usage information to improve features, understand demand, and produce internal or commercial reporting. These terms should not be read as consent to sell identifiable personal data.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or perfect accuracy. Liability should be limited appropriately in a formally reviewed final version of these terms.
